Astley Terrace
Census 1891

In 1891, the census only recorded two streets - Astley Terrace and Melton_Street and they were documented as being in Burgh Parva, meaning that in 1891 Melton Constable only existed in the area around Melton Constable Hall. Melton Constable station and works were built in Burgh Parva before its name was changed to sound more appropriate - see Maps.
