1st October 1884: Line to Holt opened
16th June 1887: Line to Sheringham and Cromer Beach opened

October 1936: Melton Constable Works closed
28th February 1959: Passenger traffic ceased from Kings Lynn, Norwich and Gt. Yarmouth, just leaving Sheringham
6th April 1964: All passenger traffic ceased
December 1964: All freight traffic ceased
